The O'Chiese First Nation Traditional Land Use Department (TUS) hosted a cultural awareness camp in Medicine Lake, Alberta with the Alberta Provincial Government and invited industry. They gathered for 3 days for discussions and sharing the history of the O'Chiese First Nations people and the significant lands that are valuable to O'Chiese First Nation. The goal being, to get the decision makers from the government side together with the Elders of our Nation, so the real history of the area can be passed on to them. We must work collectively to ensure that we all understand each other's cultures.
