Property Management is responsible for all of the residential housing units within the Nation which is almost 250 homes and increases annually. Some of the things we do: House moves in and outs, maintenance requests, minor renos, major renos, new housing requests, preventative maintenance programs, vacuum truck, house turn over inspections and house transition to new home occupants and after hours emergency services. We also organize and supply the labour for repairs at many public buildings such as: School, daycare, community centre, child welfare, head start, health centre, truck stop, and administration office.We even build soap box derby cars!

 

Our team: electrical crew, plumbing crew, carpentry crews, vac truck crew, construction material handling crew, after hour crews, and administration staff.

 

Plumbing: Toilet repairs and replacements, leaking taps, septic and sump pumps, furnace repairs, and so much more

Electrical: Electrical switches and plugs, stoves, inside and outside lights, smoke detectors, so much more

Carpentry: Exterior and interior doors, kitchen cabinets, steps and decks, flooring repairs, minor and other repairs and so much more.

Construction Material Handling: receives and re-distributes materials to all of our crews as well as to other large projects on the Nation.

Vac Truck Crew: sewage holding tank removal

After Hours Crew: Emergency furnace problems, broken water or waste water lines, flooded basements and so much more.

Admin Staff: Manage all crews day to day, organize new housing requests, emergency housing requests, reno requests, major & minor renos, and so much more.

CHANGES THAT ARE HAPPENING

 

*Our work order process has been refined. It is now more precise and requires there to be better communication and accountability. This will allow us to provide better service.

*A new field supervisor position pre-inspects and post-inspects the majority of our calls to make sure we provide the correct service needed.

*We have made accurate and timely data collection a priority. This information provides Property Management and Leadership with accurate housing information and requests.

*Training and career development has been a priority for us. We have scheduled a training course and have security an industry partnership to develop our own skills in the community. 

*We also have many of our crew members enrolled in the registered apprentice program for the trades.
