BRIGHTER FUTURES COORDINATOR

 

The O’Chiese First Nation Health Centre is currently accepting applications for

a Brighter Futures Coordinator. The Coordinator will develop and organize programs for youth and their families in order to target group needs and to actualize strategies that will reduce the destructive lifestyles among youth, teens and adults.

 

 

Qualifications:

 

  •  Must have Post Secondary or minimum Grade 12 education
  • Must possess or be willing to obtain a Class 4 Driver`s License and have reliable transportation 
  • First Aid
  • Computer Skills is mandatory
  • Ability to prepare budgets and work within budget guidelines and work plans
  • Knowledge of Community & Areas Programs and Resources
  • Ability to deliver workshops and programs within the community
  • Training in counseling and crisis intervention an asset
  • Knowledge and understanding of family violence, addictions and trauma an asset
