Planned Power Outage Notice – North End of O’Chiese
Residents in the north end of O’Chiese, particularly homes located near the river, are advised of an upcoming planned power outage due to work being carried out by Proline Power.
The project is scheduled to begin tomorrow, with completion targeted for Monday, April 13th. To safely complete the work, a power outage is expected to occur from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM on that day.
Community members are encouraged to prepare accordingly. Final confirmation of the outage timing will be provided by Proline Power’s foreman at the end of the week.
Further updates will be shared through the O’Chiese App and website as they become available.
MEMO: Census Team in Community
The Census Team will be in the community beginning pre-listing.
This step is to help identify and confirm all dwellings to ensure everyone is included in the upcoming census.
During this time, census workers will be driving through the community and stopping briefly near homes to record address information. No questions will be asked at this stage, and there is no need to come outside.

For your awareness, census workers will be:
-Carrying official identification
-Conducting work during daytime hours
​
If you have any concerns, you are welcome to ask workers to show their identification.
This is not the full census - just preparation work to support an accurate and complete count.
